Built From Lived Experience

The Origin

MMH was not built in a boardroom to capitalize on a passing cultural trend. It was built from zero, rooted entirely in lived experience. After surviving homelessness, battling addiction, navigating grief, and rebuilding life from absolute scratch, the reality of the crisis became undeniably clear: knowing you need support and actually finding it are two very different battles. MMH was founded because learning the hard way that silence doesn’t make you stronger is a brutal lesson that no man should ever have to repeat.

The Algorithm of Silence

The brand began almost by accident. A single t-shirt was designed with a simple, defiant message: "Don't Man Up. Speak Up". When strangers on the street began asking for it, it proved a fundamental truth: men are actively pushing back against the crushing weight of societal expectation. Our gear exists to serve as visceral conversation starters—to break the stigma of mental health on the streets and aggressively disrupt the algorithm of silence that keeps men isolated in their struggles.

From a Single Message to a Shared Voice

“Don’t Man Up – Speak Up” was never just a slogan. It was how I made sense of silence.
Seeing that message across so many designs now… it’s emotional. It means people are choosing to speak differently, to stand up for each other, to push back against the weight of expectation.

Every time someone wears it, I know the mission is alive. That we’re not alone in this.
