Built From Zero.
MMH started from lived experience. After homelessness, addiction, grief, and rebuilding from scratch, I knew what it felt like to need support but not know where to look.
That became the starting point: create a clear, practical signposting platform for men trying to find their way forward.
Where The Clothing Started.
The apparel side started almost by accident. While building the signposting site, I made a simple design with the words: Don’t Man Up. Speak Up.
I only wanted one T-shirt for myself. Then strangers started buying it, and it became clear the message meant something to other people too.
The Turning Point.
Not every message fits neatly inside a marketplace. When the Amazon account closed, MMH had to become fully independent.
So we built mmh.clothing on our own terms — with our own voice, our own products, and a clearer direction. The purpose stayed the same: statement-led clothing, with profits helping sustain the signposting platform behind MMH.
We Signpost. We Don’t Treat.
MMH Men’s Mental Health CIC does not provide therapy, crisis support, or direct care. It helps men find external support options, including services, helplines, and peer-support groups.
The clothing side helps support that work. Profits from MMH Statement Apparel help sustain the platform and keep it moving forward.

Seeing that message across so many designs now… it’s emotional. It means people are choosing to speak differently, to stand up for each other, to push back against the weight of expectation.
Every time someone wears it, I know the mission is alive. That we’re not alone in this.
