I don’t see it as good wolf versus bad wolf. It’s about staying level when the world gives you every reason not to, without losing the part of you that knows how to fight back.

Behind The Two Wolves Design
The Two Wolves is one of those stories that stays with you because the message appears simple—but life rarely is.
I didn’t want to repeat the familiar idea of one good wolf fighting one bad wolf. That interpretation always felt too easy. We all carry different sides within us: calm and anger, restraint and instinct, hope and fear. Neither side simply disappears, and both can have their place. The real choice is which one we strengthen and which one we allow to lead.
That tension shaped the artwork.
Instead of showing two separate animals, I brought the wolves together as two halves of the same face. They share one outline because they belong to the same person. The light and dark contrast makes the division immediate, while the distressed detailing keeps the design raw rather than polished or decorative.
The words CHOOSE WHICH YOU FEED sit directly beneath the wolf because the design needed a decision, not a lengthy explanation. The image presents the conflict. The statement puts the responsibility back on the person wearing it.
I also created front-print and back-print versions because people wear statements differently. The front print carries the full message openly. The back-print version makes the artwork larger and more imposing, while the smaller chest detail keeps the front controlled and understated.
The design was then adapted across Two Wolves T-shirts, Two Wolves Hoodies, with each placement adjusted to suit the garment rather than simply copying the same layout onto everything.
The Two Wolves isn’t about pretending one side of you does not exist. It is about recognising both—and deciding which one takes the lead.
